How do I book a session?
Booking is easy! Fill out the contact form and I'll be in touch within 24 hours. We'll talk about what you're celebrating, choose a location and pick a date. Then I'll send your contract and invoice. Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and your $50 retainer (applied to your total) is received.
We feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely! Most of my clients tell me this before their session. You don't need to know how to pose or where to look. I'll gently guide you with natural prompts that encourage real interaction, so your photos feel effortless and authentic.
How many photos will we receive?
Every session includes a professionally hand-edited online gallery with the number of images listed in your package. After your proof gallery is delivered, you can add more images or purchase your complete gallery. Whenever possible, I love surprising clients with a few extras!
How do we get our photos?
You'll receive a private online gallery where you can download your high-resolution images, share them with family and friends, and order professional-quality prints right from the gallery.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes! Every gallery is thoughtfully hand-edited in a warm, timeless, true-to-life style that lets your memories, not editing trends, take center stage.
How long until we get our photos?
Most galleries are delivered within 2-3 weeks, and many are ready sooner.
What if it rains?
If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply reschedule for the next available date at no additional cost. I want you to have the best possible experience and the best possible light!
Where are sessions held?
I photograph throughout Central New Jersey, including Middlesex, Mercer and Monmouth County, plus Staten Island. Favorite spots include Princeton University, Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, Colonial Park Gardens, local parks and in-home lifestyle sessions. Have a location in mind? I'd love to hear it! Travel fees depend on location.
Can I order prints or keepsakes?
Yes! Order professional-quality prints right from your online gallery. You can also pair your session with personalized heirloom keepsakes from my sister brand, Covered in Faith Shop, including blankets, swaddles, crib sheets and other meaningful gifts.
What should we wear?
Soft, coordinating colors photograph beautifully with my warm, timeless editing. Think ivory, cream, oatmeal, beige, camel, sage, dusty blue, muted blush, navy and chocolate brown. Coordinate, don't match: dress one person first (usually Mom) and build around that. Flowy midi or maxi dresses move beautifully. Try to avoid neon colors, busy patterns, large logos, character clothing and bright white tops in direct sun. I'm always happy to help with outfit ideas once you book!
Can we do an outfit change?
Of course! Signature Sessions include up to 2 outfits. Just let me know ahead of time and I'll happily bring my portable changing tent.
