Let's Connect
I'd love to hear all about your vision for your session. Once you reach out, we'll discuss what you're celebrating, choose the perfect location, answer any questions, and find a date that works best for you.

Let's Get You Booked
Once you're ready to move forward, I'll send over your contract, invoice, and everything you need to prepare for your session. Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and your retainer is received.

Enjoy the Experience
The best photos happen when you're simply enjoying the moment. I'll gently guide you with natural prompts while leaving plenty of room for genuine connection, laughter, and authentic moments to unfold. Planning an outfit change? Just let me know in advance, and I'll happily bring my portable changing tent.
Choosing a photographer is about more than beautiful photos—it's about finding someone who makes you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourself.
Whether we're celebrating a graduation, welcoming a new baby, chasing little ones through the park, or documenting another meaningful milestone, my goal is to create an experience that feels relaxed, genuine, and true to you.
I'll guide you every step of the way with natural prompts while leaving plenty of room for authentic moments to unfold. No stiff poses. No pressure. Just real connection and timeless images you'll love for years to come.
Every gallery is thoughtfully hand-edited with a true-to-life style that allows your memories—not editing trends—to take center stage. My hope is that years from now, your photographs won't just remind you of what life looked like, but how it felt.
A Style Guide for Your Session
What you wear plays a big role in the overall look and feel of your photos. My editing style is warm, timeless, and true-to-life, so soft, coordinating colors always photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you rather than your clothing.
I'd love to hear all about your vision for your session. Once you reach out, we'll discuss what you're celebrating, choose the perfect location, answer any questions, and find a date that works best for you.

What to Avoid
While there aren't strict rules, these tend to be the most distracting in photos:
- Bright white tops (they can photograph with a cool blue cast in direct sunlight)
- Neon colors
- Busy patterns
- Large logos or graphics
- Character clothing
- Matching everyone exactly
- Linen or fabrics that wrinkle easily
- Athletic shoes (unless they're intentionally part of the outfit)

General Styling Tips
- Coordinate, don't match.
- Dress one person first (usually Mom), then build everyone else's outfits around that.
- Mix textures rather than prints.
- Stick to two or three complementary colors throughout the group.
- Steam clothing beforehand.
- Empty pockets and remove bulky phones, wallets, and keys.
Family Sessions
A flowy midi or maxi dress is my favorite option because it creates beautiful movement while walking, holding little ones, and interacting naturally.
Look for:
- Flowy midi or maxi dresses
- Cotton, chiffon, crepe, satin, knit, or gauze fabrics
- Cream, oatmeal, sage, dusty blue, muted blush, beige, or camel
- Neutral sandals, heels, or ankle boots
Avoid:
- Linen
- Tight bodycon dresses
- Large prints
- Neon colors
Simple, timeless clothing photographs best.

Couples & Engagements
Coordinate your outfits rather than wearing identical colors. One person can wear a subtle pattern while the other wears a solid color. If you'd like variety, consider bringing two outfits:
- One casual
- One dressier
Great outfit combinations:
- Cream dress + navy button-down
- Sage dress + beige pants
- Dusty blue dress + dark denim
- Camel dress + cream sweater
*Avoid wearing all black or all bright white together*
Matnerity
Choose outfits that highlight your bump while allowing you to move comfortably. If your partner is joining, coordinate with your outfit rather than matching it:
- One casual
- One dressier
Great Options:
- Long flowy dresses
- Fitted ribbed dresses
- Off-the-shoulder dresses
- Soft knit dresses
Colors I love:
- Cream
- Ivory
- Sage
- Dusty Blue
- Blush

Lifestyle Newborn
Keep the focus on your family and baby.
Great Choices:
- Cozy knit sweaters
- Neutral tops
- Simple dresses
- Jeans
- Bare feet
For baby:
- Neutral sleeper
- Knit romper
- Swaddle
- Onesie
*Avoid bright colors and busy prints*

Birthday sessions
Choose something that feels elevated but still comfortable.
Ideas:
- Midi dress
- Satin dress
- Jumpsuit
- Blazer and trousers
- Nice jeans with a dressy top
*If you're bringing balloons or flowers, let those be the statement piece rather than a busy outfit*

Children's Milestones
Comfort comes first.
Great options:
- Rompers
- Overalls
- Simple dresses
- Knit sets
- Coordinated separates
*Bare feet are perfect for younger children.*

Cake Smash
Keep the outfit simple so the focus stays on your little one.
Great options:
- Neutral romper
- Bloomers
- Suspenders
- Overalls
- Simple dress
*Bare feet always photograph beautifully*
If you'd like family portraits first, bring a second clean outfit for the cake smash.
