There's something about this time of year. Little ones in cozy sweaters, cold noses, pumpkins bigger than they are. These seasons go by so fast, and so do they. My fall and holiday mini sessions are a simple way to capture this chapter without a big production.
Fall Minis at Carm's Farm
Pumpkin fields, a petting zoo, a corn maze and golden autumn light in Colts Neck. Carm's Farm feels like fall in every frame. It's perfect for families with little ones who need room to roam (and a goat or two to keep them smiling).
Christmas Tree Farm Minis
Rows of evergreens, a vintage red truck and a Christmas tractor at Anne Ellen Farms in Manalapan. It gives you that classic holiday-card look, with natural outdoor light instead of a studio backdrop.

What to Wear
Think cozy and coordinated, not matching. Creams, rust, olive, navy and burgundy all photograph beautifully against pumpkins and evergreens. Knits, corduroy and boots are perfect. Skip big logos, neon and busy patterns. You'll find more ideas in my What to Wear guide.
Tips for Little Ones
Bring a small snack and a favorite toy (I'll put it to work). Arrive 10 minutes early so everyone can settle in. And don't worry about perfect smiles. Some of my favorite frames happen in between.
